How do I join?

Simply download & complete an application form and send it together with the appropriate amount to the address shown on the form. Alternately, the form can be e-mailed to & payment made by bank transfer to Barclays, Moortown, sort code 20-48-95 account 70799289. You will then be sent an invitation to join clubspark, which, once completed gives access to court booking.. Remember to request a key if you need one. This should be issued within 10 days.

Is there a waiting list to join?

Not at the moment. New members of any age or ability are very welcome.

Is there a dress code?

Yes. Suitable clothing must be worn at all times. Tracksuits may be worn. Jeans are not permitted. Footwear must not damage the playing surface.

How is court access controlled?

Members can be supplied with a gate key to allow access to the courts which can be pre-booked via clubspark. A £10 deposit is required for the gate key.

How are courts booked?

Courts can be booked by Members using clubspark.

Are there any toilet facilities?

At Open Days and other events when the club house is being used, a toilet is available. The rest of the time, unfortunately the toilet is not available.

Is there a league or a club team playing in a local league?

Not at the moment. The courts are used mainly for social tennis.

Does the Club hold any competitions?

Not at the moment. The courts are used mainly for social tennis.

Can I bring a visitor?

Members may bring guests at £2.00 per visit to be paid to a committee member or sent to the treasurer. Each guest aged 8 or over is limited to no more than three visits per year. Children under 8 years of age may use the courts at no cost when accompanied by a Senior member and at the discretion of other members present.

How can I contact opponents?

An email request for an opponent can be forwarded to all members. We also hold “Rusty Racquets” sessions, open to all levels & ideal if you need a playing partner. These are currently held on Tuesday afternoons around 12.30pm, April – October, weather permitting. Day & time may change so contact us for details.
